Change of primary email contact
Due to the seriously high volume of email abuse recently, we have
changed our mailboxes. This was neccessary because of the high system
overhead required to transfer and filter messages.
The original "plantbase" and "admin"
mailboxes have been closed down, any messages sent to them will
now be automatically deleted.
The correct new primary contact address is: 
Our personal mailboxes remain unchanged and valid, you can reply
or send to our individual address with no problem, if you have them.
The "webmaster" and "abuse" mailboxes are still
operational. They are specifically for reporting web-site issues
and possible email abuse only. Any issues are investigated reasonably
frequently, but you will not always get a reply.
Delivery of email to unrecognised mailboxes will be rejected.
All incoming email is rigorously scanned for viruses and SPAM.
Messages that fail to pass through all the filters are automatically
deleted. Very occasionally this may result in "false positives"
and genuine messages may not get received. If you do not get a reply
from us within a reasonable period, normally 24 hours, then please
re-send your message. The most secure and reliable method is to
use our feedback
or contact web-forms.
Unfortunately, these changes will not aviod the problem of email
spoofing, where our addresses are used as From and/or Reply in SPAM
messages. There is little we can do about this increasing trend,
as the messages do not originate from our systems. We strongly recommend
the use of effective SPAM filtering and anti-virus software, it
is really essential for any PC connected to the Internet. We will
be happy to advise any of our customers that suffer from this issue.
