  • Crocus.co.uk - online plant supply. They have a good reputation, reasonable delivery charges and an excellent informative web-site.
  • DingleyDell Nurseries - good wholesale only nursery in Surrey, huge range of shrubs and climbers.
  • evergreen4ever.com - directory web site for garden related topics and services. Includes UK regional listings.
  • Fernwood Nursery - National Collection holders of Sempervivums and Phormiums. A wealth of information about these plants. Valued contributors to Plant Base.
  • Friends of the Harris Garden - organisation that helps manage the gardens within the grounds of Reading University, very close to our office.
  • Gardening by Design - very informative web-site of a recommended garden design practice based in Kent. A user of Plant Base.
  • The Greenhouse Catalog - based in Oregon, providing gardeners in the USA with great range of kits and supplies. Their site is also valuable information resource about all aspects of growing under glass
  • Grovelands - a quality garden centre in Berkshire with a good selection of plants and also an extensive online garden supplies web-site.
  • Guerrilla Gardening - support this movement and make your area a better place to live!
  • Hare Hatch Nursery - Berkshire growers, nice people and a wide range of plants many of which are pictured in Plant Base.

  • Ucon Plant Database - University of Connecticut Internet Plant Database, good online plant information
  • W Godfrey & Sons - great nursery in Surrey, wholesale only, growers of perennials, ferns, grasses, and alpines.
  • WebGardenGuide.com - garden adviser and directory site. Information on gardening, growing plants, herbs, flowers and vegetables.
  • Wild Plants of the British Isles - an inspirational and entertaining site for those interested in wild flowers, masses of plant information and beautiful photographs, indexed by Latin, English and Welsh names. Also has links to many other important web sites.

  • Jessops - photography shops that actually have staff who know what they are talking about! Also a good web-site offering competitive and reliable online shopping.
  • Keyactive Ltd. - our associate company, providers of programming resources, PC and mid-range computer support, IT and business consultancy.
  • PayPal UK - well known service that we use to accept online payments, owned by eBay. They offer facilities for both personal and business use.
  • www.securelogo.co.uk - excellent logo image hosting service on a secure server, for use with Paypal etc.
  • Shalom Help Maker - really useful Windows Helpfile authoring program from Denmark. It works very well and its free! It was used to create the Plant Base Help.
  • SpamPal - excellent email spam filter that works with a very wide range of email programs. Simple and free, a credit to it author James Farmer.
  • Spamihilator - another very effective freeware spam filter with a slightly different approach, a great product from Michel Krämer in Germany.
