Single or semi-double pure white flowers, with greenish-yellow eyes, held on tall stems above lush dark green foliage from late summer to autumn. Strong growing and healthy.
Very similar to 'Honorine Jobert' but with slightly larger flowers.
Moist, fertile, humus-rich in sun or part shade. Dislikes excessive winter wet.
Cut back dead flower stems after flowering and foliage back to soil level as soon as it browns with frost. In mild winters, foliage will persist for several months. No staking is required. Divide every three years. Mulch in autumn and spring. Feed in mid-spring and midsummer with general purpose fertiliser.
By division in autumn or early spring.
