Bushy evergreen of variable size, becoming open and sparse with age. Oval or obovate, downy, greyish-green leaves with showy reddish new growth. Peeling dark reddish-brown bark. Pendant clusters of small, urn-shaped, pink-flushed, white flowers followed by orange berries.
Well drained soil in sun or part shade and thrives best in mild climate areas. Tolerant of drought once established.
Can be trimmed to keep bushy, tidy and to moderate size.

Good in mild coastal areas.
