description:
Small shrub with intense deep blue flowers over a long period in summer. Deep green foliage which is aromatic when brushed against.

cultivation:
Needs sun and a well drained soil. In cold areas grow in a protected south facing position. Top-groth may be killed by severe frosts but will usually re-shoot from the base. Dislikes heavy, poorly drained soils.
Prune back to 15cm in early spring.

propagation:
By soft-wood cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.

usage:
Borders, suitable for containers
Attractive to insects.
