description:
Striking creamy-yellow foliage with green central streaking, tending to become more yellow in warm summer weather. Powdery blue flowers during May and June, but rather sparsely produced. Bushy habit with arching stems.

cultivation:
Most well drained soils, but not very chalky ones. Prefers full sun. Reasonably frost hardy, but best in a sheltered position in cool areas.

propagation:
By semi-ripe cuttings taken from mid-summer to autumn - can be tricky, a little bottom heat may help.

usage:
Can be effectively trained as a wall shrub.

other notes:
Fairly new cultivar, selected as a sport of Ceanothus thyrsiflorus by Bob Hares, Pershore College, UK, in 1992.
