White flowers with dark maroon blotches. Quite often produced flowers where one petal reverts to the purple-pink colouring of the species.
Best in poor to moderately fertile, very well drained, gritty soil in full sun. In cool climate areas, provide a position sheltered from cold winds and hard frosts. Drought tolerant.
Can be short lived and best replaced when growth becomes leggy.
From cuttings, taken in autumn.
