Large elegant sprays of burnt orange and red flowers in late summer. Tall pleated leaves. Strong growing.
Moist, well drained soil in sun or part shade. Fairly hardy variety.
Cut back foliage as it discolours. Divide every five to six years. Mulch in autumn. Top dress with bonemeal or proprietary bulb fertiliser in spring.
