description:
Vigorous, upright growing and usually evergreen. Terminal clusters of powerfully fragrant, showy flowers, deep purplish-pink on the outside and white or pale pink on the inner petal faces, blooming in winter and continuing over a long period.

cultivation:
Reasonably fertile, humus rich, moist soil, which is neither very acid nor alkaline, in full sun or part shade. Dislikes dry soil. Resents root disturbance once established. Best in a sheltered position.
