description:
Leathery green leaves are thinly edged with creamy yellow. Very fragrant purplish pink and white flowers in winter and early spring. Slow growing. Similar to Daphne odora 'Aureomarginata' but quite rare.

cultivation:
Reasonably fertile, humus rich, moist soil, which is neither very acid nor alkaline, in full sun or part shade. Resents root disturbance once established.

propagation:
By semi-ripe cuttings in late summer or early autumn - can be difficult to root.
