Hardy annual or short lived perennial. A selection with striking cup-shaped silky glowing orange flowers. Ferny blue-green foliage.
Easy to grow, prefers full sun and well drained soil. Will thrive in poor dry soils.
From seed. Sow in February or March in trays or outdoors in their final position from March to May. Germination takes 5 to 10 days at about 20°C. Seed may also be sown in autumn for flowering in late spring. Thin seedlings if necessary and transplant when large enough to handle.
