description:
Low growing, compact spreading habit. Yellow flowers in mid spring before the leaves emerge. Flowering can be a bit sparse compared to other forms.

cultivation:
Any moderately fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. Easy to grow and not fussy. Prune after flowering, reducing new shoots and cut back some of the old shoots to the base.

propagation:
Greenwood cuttings in late spring or semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.
