description:
Bushy, suckering evergreen. Small, stiff, spine-tipped, dark green leaves. Small, nodding, urn-shaped, white or sometimes pink-flushed flowers in late spring and early summer, followed on female plants by showy fruits which may be white, pink or purple-red.
