Beautiful, vigorous cultivar with strongly ascending branches and large rounded leaves. Clusters of quite large flowers, coppery-orange suffused with red, on bare branches in winter. Good autumn foliage colour.

Best in moist, fertile, acid to neutral soil in sun or part shade. Dislikes dry soils. Benefits from a site sheltered from strong winds.
Prune if required, by removing dead or unwanted branches in late winter/early spring.
