Large, deep orangey-yellow spidery flowers with gracefully drooping petals flushed red at the bases, in mid and late winter. Slightly scented.

Best in moist, fertile, acid to neutral soil in sun or part shade. Dislikes dry soils. Benefits from a site sheltered from strong winds.
Prune if required, by removing dead or unwanted branches in late winter/early spring.
