description:
Erect perennial with broad, dark green, lanceolate or oblanceolate leaves and wavy wings on the lower part of the stems. Rich orange flowers with yellow flecks on the petals and dark brown central cones, produced in late summer and early autumn.


cultivation:
Best in moist, well drained, fertile soil in full sun. Divide clumps every 2 or 3 years, in spring, to maintain flowering vigour. Deadhead regularly during the flowering season.
