Double, lavender-mauve flowers with red central flares, about 10cm across, and late summer and early autumn. The large outer petals and a clustered smaller ones at the centre give an anemone-flowered appearance.
Reasonably fertile, humus-rich, moist, well drained soil in full sun. Performs best in areas with long hot summers.
Prune in early spring. On established plants, some old stems can be cut back hard.
Hybrid raised by Dr. Roderick Woods, Cambridge, UK.
