Large flowers of deep violet-blue with ruffled petal edges. Slightly scented. Grey-green sword-shaped leaves.
Well drained, preferably neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun. Rhizomes should be partially exposed and flowering is best in areas with long warm summers. Divide clumps when congested.
