Short growing, rhizomatous, dwarf bearded Iris. Stiff, blade-like grey-green leaves. Purple-blue and white flowers with yellow beards, in spring.
Well drained, preferably neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun. Rhizomes should be partially exposed and flowering is best in areas with long warm summers. Divide clumps when congested.
