Moderate height, attractive flowers in late spring, very pale violet-blue standard and rich deep purple falls, which tend to fade with age.
Well drained, preferably neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun. Rhizomes should be partially exposed and flowering is best in areas with long warm summers. Divide clumps when congested.
