Rhizomatous bearded iris with pale green leaves striped with silvery-white. Branching stems carry large, scented soft blue flowers with yellow beards in late spring and early summer. Less vigorous than the species.

Well drained, fertile, neutral to quite alkaline soils in full sun. Grows well on rocky soils.
