description:
Soft golden yellow foliage in good light, becoming lime green in more shade. Young leaves are often pinkish-red tinged. Pendulous spikes of white flowers surrounded by conspicuous purple-red bracts, followed by dark red-purple berries. Fast growing shrub with upright and arching, bamboo like stems.

Any reasonably fertile, well drained soil in sun or part shade. Quite easy, tolerant and quick growing.
