Vigorous upright deciduous tree which from a early age produces very large cup-shaped, pale rose-pink flowers, creamy white inside, in mid spring.

cultivation:
Prefers heavy, rich and moist lime free soil in a sheltered position, but quite adaptable. Can be pruned after flowering or in July or August. Tolerant of atmospheric pollution.
