description:
Perennial grass making neat clumps of narrow, upright to arching, cream-striped leaves. Narrow open flower panicles, with conspicuous purple stigmas, in mid to late summer, borne well above the foliage on green and cream variegated stems. The whole plant fades to buff in autumn.
