Tender perennial, twining climber normally grown as a half-hardy annual vegetable. Dwarf variety with bicolour red and white flowers, followed by long straight stringless seed pods. Early cropping and with good flavour.

Frost tender. Usually grown as an annual. Moist, fertile soil in full sun. May be grown on a support or allowed to trail.
Pods are best harvested while still young and regular picking will prolong cropping.

From seed (beans) which can be sown from April in trays or pots and kept frost-free for later planting out. Or sow directly once the weather has warmed up.

Good for small spaces or for growing in large containers or even hanging baskets.
