There appears to be considerable variation in the form of this plant, usually sold as 'Marbled White'. A plant purchased by the author specifically as 'Castlewellan' has much finer and more even variegation than most 'Marbled White' specimens. It also appears to be slower growing. Perhaps they are really different cultivars?
