Early flowering dwarf, bulbous reticulata Iris. Relatively large rich purple flowers with very dark purple falls marked yellow and white, late winter and early spring.

Well drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil in a sunny position. Should be kept quite dry during the summer dormant period.

From bulbils, which will produce flowering plants in about 3 or 4 years.
