Deeproot Plant Base version 1.6.0 full install
file (250 Mb)
This file can be used for new installations
or as an update for existing users. It is complete with the
latest plant data and pictures.
For new users, it installs as a 15 day trial. Purchasing
a license code removes the time limit.
Only suitable for
broadband connections. This is a large download
and is likely to take some time (about 20mins using a 3Mbps link. (alternatively

Installs exactly the same software as above,
but with cut-down data files holding fewer plants and pictures.
This provides a much smaller, quicker download for evaluation
purposes only, Runs as a 15 day trial, can be updated to the
full edition at any time.
Still a big file
and probably best suited for broadband, unless you're prepared
to wait a long time on a dial-up! |

Some of the above are substantial downloads and will take some time, especially
if you are using a normal dial-up connection. The full Plant Base
product is only practical using a high-speed connection. It is also
available on CD,
by post.
Instructions:
- Click a file link above (or right-click and Save Target as...).
- Save the file to any convienient location on your hard disk.
- Ensure that Plant Base or any of its components such as its
screen saver are not running.
- Locate the downloaded file with Windows Explorer and run it
by double-clicking.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Viruses:
These executable download files have
been checked and are virus-free before being placed on the web
server. However it is a good precaution to run your anti-virus
software against any executable file downloaded from the Internet,
before running it. This is usually quick and simple with any
of the major anti-virus programs. |
