description:
Spreading, deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub with small, glossy dark green leaves which turn bronze-purple in autumn. Panicles of small, funnel-shaped, pink-tinged, white flowers are produced in late summer and into autumn.

cultivation:
Fertile, well drained soil. Full sun or a little shade. Needs a fairly sheltered, warm location with some protection from cold winds.

propagation:
By greenwood cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.
