Vigorous ground cover. grey-green foliage with small toothed leaflets. Round green flowerheads develop into spiny seed burs, yellow-green at first ageing to buff-brown.
Any well drained soil in full sun. Will tolerate a little shade.
Easiest by division of large rooted mats, in autumn or early spring. Also from seed.
