Tall bold plant with large coarsely divided, pinnatifid to pinnatisect, greyish green leaves. Large heads of creamy white flowers on thick stems in summer.
Any well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Drought tolerant.

Wildflower meadows, attracts butterflies.
