Slow growing medium sized tree with spectacular spring foliage, the leaves unfolding bright pink before fading to yellowish-green and then turning yellow-orange in autumn. Pale yellow flowers in summer.

Unfussy and thrives in most reasonable soils but best in moist, well drained, deep, fertile soil, in full sun or part shade.
