description:
Rosette forming succulent with a neat compact habit. Stiff glaucous blue-green leaves, edged and tipped by very sharp black spines. In suitable conditions will eventually produce a 2 metre high flowering stem, branched at the top and bearing violet-green flowers. May form bulbils on the stem, which grow into new plants when they fall to the ground.
