description:
Rosettes of short triangular light blue-green leaves, often tinged with pink in strong sunlight. Whitish spines along the edges. Orange-red flowers in late summer. Neat, compact growing habit. Each rosette is only about 15cm in diameter but offsets are produced to form tight clumps.

cultivation:
Needs excellent drainage, sun and warm temperatures. Not really hardy but may survive short cold periods in a very protected position.
