Vigorous clump forming evergreen perennial with divided leaves. Masses of large daisy-like golden-yellow flowers in summer.
Prefers a moderately fertile, well-drained, sandy or gravely soil and a sunny position. Dislikes excessively wet soil in winter.
Cut back hard after flower to promote a good basal foliage clump. May be short-lived, so replant occasionally in refreshed soil to rejuvenate.
By division in spring.
Hybrid of Anthemis tinctoria x Anthemis sancti-johannis.
Selected from seedlings found in the garden of Blanche Poe, County Tipperary, Ireland. Introduced in 1949
