Any well drained soil in full sun. Tolerant of poor, infertile soils and hot, dry conditions. This species is a fast grower and should be trimmed back after flowering to tidy and maintain compactness.

usage:
Good for large rock gardens, dry banks and planting in crevices of stone walls. Effective ground cover.
