Semi-evergreen shrub with attractive bright yellow foliage. Leaves are alternately arranged and entire or coarsely toothed. Bushy habit becoming more open and irregular with age. Small whiteish flowers in late summer.
This is a sterile male clone.
Tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, including poor soils, salt spray and drought once established. The species normally grows in wetlands near the coast. Sun or part shade.
This clone is not invasive.
Can be pruned, preferably in early summer.
The colouring gives an effect somewhat similar to Choisya 'Sundance' but should be suitable for more exposed situations.
Raised by C. Chambolle and introduced by the Mimier Nurseries, Anger, France, 2010.
