description:
Deciduous shrub with arching branches. Slightly toothed, elliptic to obovate leaves. Pendant clusters of light yellow flowers in April, followed by profuse red berries in autumn. Often has good autumn foliage colour.

cultivation:
Most well drained soils in sun or part shade. Will tolerate difficult soils including heavy clays and thin chaly soil. Tolerant of periods of drought once well estblished.
