description:
Tender shrub or small tree. Large ovate mid to dark green leaves. Dramatic, very large pendant, trumpet-shaped salmon pink flowers. Slightly fragrant.
There are other forms with different flower colours.

cultivation:
Fertile, moist but well drained soil in sun or part shade. Needs a warm climate or may be grown under glass in winter. May re-shoot from the base if top growth is damaged by cold, provided the roots remain un-frosted. Container grown plants should be kept fairly dry in winter.
