description:
Particularly good form of buddleia, fast growing and tidy in habit, semi-evergreen with hairy grey-green leaves. Large panicles of fragrant pale violet-blue flowers with an orange eye, very long flowering and irresistible to butterflies of many types.

cultivation:
Very tolerant of poor conditions. Best in dryish, well drained soil and full sun.

Prune hard to control size, shape and encourage fresh flowering growth. Best done in early spring, but additional partial pruning can be done after flowering in autumn to prevent winter wind damage.

Attractive to butterflies.
