description:
Hybrid between davidii and globosa. Spreading deciduous shrub with long arching shoots. Leaves appear grey and hairy at first, maturing to mid-green. In late summer to autumn, produces rounded clusters of yellow fragrant flowers, sometimes with purple tints.

cultivation:
Very tolerant of poor conditions. Best in well drained soil and full sun.

Prune hard to control size, shape and encourage fresh flowering growth. Best done in early spring, but additional partial pruning can be done after flowering in autumn to prevent winter wind damage.
