Small, single, bright pink flowers, freely produced. Glossy dark green leaves.
Moist, well drained, humus-rich, acid soil in a shaded position sheltered from cold, drying winds. Flower buds may be damaged by frost, especially if exposed to morning sunlight. Well suited to British climate conditions.
By leaf-bud or semi-ripe cuttings or by grafting.
Hybrid derived from Camellia japonica' x Camellia saluenensis.
