description:
Vigorous, fast growing, large evergreen, often developing a short sturdy trunk. Glossy leaves and prolific blue flowers in late spring. Small black fruits later.

cultivation:
Most well drained soils, but not very chalky ones. Prefers full sun. Reasonably frost hardy, but best in a sheltered position in cool areas. Best against a sunny wall, otherwise may suffer in cold Winters.
Prune after flowering.

propagation:
By semi-ripe cuttings taken from mid-summer to autumn - can be tricky, a little bottom heat may help.
