description:
Vigorous evergreen making a wide spreading mound. Good ground cover. One of the hardiest Ceanothus varieties. Pale blue flowers in Spring. Rather variable in habit.

cultivation:
Most well drained soils, but not very chalky ones. Prefers full sun. Reasonably frost hardy, best in a sheltered position in cool areas.

propagation:
By semi-ripe cuttings taken from mid-summer to autumn - can be tricky, a little bottom heat may help.
