description:
Graceful tree with branches becoming rather pendant as they spread outwards. The relatively long needle-like leaves, up to 5cm, are usually bluish-green becoming darker as they age, but individuals may vary. They are carried in rosettes of 20 to 30. Male strobili are pale glaucous green and the females are green at first, developing into barrel shaped cones up to 12cm long, ripening to brown. Dark blackish brown bark.
