description:
Hardy perennial grass. Clump-forming with bamboo-like pale green stems and broad bright green leaves, becoming coppery-brown in autumn. Oat-like branching panicles of pendent, diamond-shaped, flattened flower spikes, green at first then turning reddish-bronze in autumn and finally pinkish-buff in winter.
