description:
Large double creamy pink to mauve flowers, usually made up of 8 outer tepals and then further layers at the centre. Often has a distinctly greenish tinge, especially in part shade and early in the season. Flowers from early summer to early autumn. Neat trifoliate leaves.

cultivation:
Moist soil in full sun or part shade.
Prune lightly in late winter or early spring, removing any dead or damaged stems. Prune again after flowering. (group 2)

propagation:
From cuttings.

usage:
Interesting cut flower, particularly for its greenish shades.

Discovered as a seedling in Twickenham market by Josephine Hill in the1980's. Introduced by Guernsey Clematis Nursery, 1998. Covered by Plant Breeder's Rights.
