description:
Pendent, open bell-shaped flowers with reflexed petals, giving a shape reminiscent of a pagoda roof. Pale mauve-pink and the reverse of petals greyish-pink with a purple-pink central bar, flowering from July to September.

cultivation:
All clematis prefer alkaline soil but will normally tolerate other soil types. Requires regular supply of moisture. When planting, make the hole deeper than usual, as a precaution against Clematis wilt. Prune hard back in late winter.
