description:
Dense upright shrub. Narrowly oblong leaves are dark green above and white beneath. Freely produces small star-shaped yellow flowers which are followed by bright orange fruits. Makes a good hedge in mild coastal areas.

cultivation:
Full sun and well drained soil. Needs a fairly mild location or a position sheltered from hard frosts.

propagation:
From semi-ripe cuttings in summer or hardwood cuttings in autumn. They are best taken with a heel.
