Prostrate, semi-dwarf evergreen with small, narrow, dark green leaves about 25mm long. The young shoots are maroon and the foliage becomes slightly bronze tinted in winter. Small white flowers in midsummer, later followed by long-lasting red berries in autumn and winter.
Any soil in sun or part shade. Very tolerant.
From cuttings or by layering.
Good groundcover with good colouring in winter.
